24 Jun Municípia in the Top 3 of the Oeiras Eco-Rally
On the 18th, 19th and 20th of June, the Municípia/CONNECT® team participated in the EcoRally, associating itself with the environmental sustainability provided by electric vehicles. The first of the 4 races of the Portuguese New Energy Championship passed through the municipalities of Oeiras, Sintra and Mafra, where 33 competitors from 6 nationalities participated.
The test consisted of passing through certain coordinates in a certain time, requiring GPS instruments, regularity and guidance, which was the responsibility of Navigator Pedro Neto, while pilot Nuno Marques had the mission of bringing the ZOE intact, after overcoming the rain and the fog of Serra de Sintra.
The international competition, part of the Portuguese New Energy Championship, was won by the duo Nuno Serrano/Alexandre Berardo, while the Municipia/CONNECT® team occupied a surprising 3rd position.
